We decided to keep it simple and fair. 70% of your premium will be paid back upon the end of the insured period,if no claim is submitted. At the financial year end, surplus funds beyond the insurance "float" will also be pro rata refunded to the members.
We decided to to do something about it. In short this is a society of like-minded riders that want just a little more peace of mind when we ride in other countries. We will depend on each other for assistance where possible and ascribe to the idea of Fair-Play when it comes to claim payouts. The main idea is to stay safe and understand risks better i.e. reaction time after consuming alcohol, how far does one travel per second at 50km/h etc, but when shtf, know that funds will be made available immediately. It is important to note that the inclusions, exclusions, policies & agreements will continuously be updated according to input from our members. We also include only persons 35 and over initially, but this number could be amended in future; the idea is to limit risk and Keep It Simple & Easy to understand.
To start off we compiled a list of nationalities which we think represent the bulk of foreign riders at the moment with a high enough test standard for big bike licenses, but should your country not be there , e mail us and tell us more about yourself. The list of countries included is not cast in stone.
Let's get to where the rubber meets the road shall we...
UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, South Africa, Namibia, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Czech Republic, Austria, Netherlands, Portugal, Argentina, Canada, Belgium, Slovenia, Estonia, Hungary, Israel
This kind of insurance is developed to take the sting out of an accident repair or damage charges by the rental companies.....and you get most of your premium back if no claim is lodged, so very affordable insurance indeed. Insurance for foreign riders in other countries.....so feel free to ride from Cape Town to Cairo if you want, but please let us know which countries to help us work out your premium.

Since most of our members will probably be riding in Asia, Eastern Europe, Central & South America and Africa we have focused and based most of our business model on these geographical areas.....countries where you also often have to hand in your passport to be able to rent and your credit card is basically your bike insurance... and so on. We will try to work with rental companies to stop this practice of taking in passports as part of the deposit. We feel this is exactly the issue we want to address, not fully comprehensive insurance etc , just the bike up to a value of US$3000.
