We know that riding motorcycles is perceived as a dangerous activity. We also know that most accidents take place due to only a few main contributing factors. As a rider that has been in the saddle since age 12, I have had my fair share of mishaps and broken bones. And to be fair, most were caused by inexperience, not calculating following distances and safe cornering speeds, riding in adverse weather and especially when younger, feeling that one is in control even while one is clearly not. When riding in other countries far away from home all these factors and their consequences get amplified. So taking my own experiences of riding in more than 20 countries over the years in consideration, begged the question: How can we help riders better in case of mishaps and can we offer a simple insurance just for the bike itself?

In addition can we offer a “hub” where riders across the world can get reliable information on biker friendly and safe accommodation, recovery assistance and also repairs?

The result is this website and hopefully people will contribute on our blogs and become part of a greater community especially in Asia, Africa, Central & South America and other far flung places where many of us seek & find our 2 wheeled adventures.
